2025 is almost here and it thrills us with new opportunities and hopes. Yet, we would also like to acknowledge this year's achievements we have been working on.
So, before the clock strikes midnight, let us take you through the key moments of Magefan's 2024 journey.
Team
Starting with the most important part of Magefan - the team. This year we welcomed 2 new members to our Magefan family.
Also, one of our colleagues went to serve in Ukrainian Armed Forces to defend our country’s freedom and peace from russian invasion. The entire team and his workplace await his return back to the Magefan office.
Meet Magento Events
Magefan was happy to be among the sponsors of many great Meet Magento events in 2024. Here they are: Meet Magento India, Meet Magento Romania, Meet Magento UK and last but not least - Meet Magento Netherlands.
Supporting the events within the Magento ecosystem is an honour to our company and a way to support the development of the platform itself.
New Extension Releases & Updates
This year we've made 190 big & small releases with updates of Magento 2 Extensions. Our team also developed a lot of new M2 extensions.
So here they are, the Magento 2 extensions of 2024: Full Page Cache Warmer, Google Page Speed Optimizer, Translation Extra, Product Labels, Base Price, and Cron Schedule.
What about Shopify apps? We released a few new Shopify apps and hope our Shopify customers will like them too. Here are the newest Shopify Apps: Product Feed, Size Chart, and Google Indexer. And added some updates to our famous Shopify Blog App.
We also released a big update to our Shopify Login As Customer App. One of the main developers of our Shopify Login as Customer app has been serving in the Ukrainian Armed Forces since June 2024.
Magefan Website Redesign
There's another important thing we’re proud of. And perhaps you have noticed it. We've made a full redesign of our website.
Although the entire process took about 6 months, the result was worth it. And we do hope you’ll love the magefan.com even more now, just like we do.
War
The full-scale war took away peace from our lives almost 3 years ago but the russian invasion began in 2014. And it still isn’t over. Many young men and women who defend our country, as a part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, sacrifice their lives every day.
Many adults and children still die from russian missile attacks in peaceful cities. russia systematically drops missiles on residential buildings, hotels & offices, schools, hospitals, churches, and streets full of driving cars, every day and night. And this terrorist country still has the money and power to continue its terror.
The terrorist country also didn't forget about Christmas "gifts" for us. russia launched cruise and ballistic missile strikes targeting the Ukrainian energy system on Christmas Day. More than 70 missiles and 100 drones were used to leave our cities without heat and electricity.
Here is an example of one of the largest russian missile attacks that took place on December 13, 2024. Russia launched 287 missiles, including 97 rockets and 193 unmanned aerial vehicles over the territory of Ukraine (all these just in a few morning hours).

You can see the trajectory of missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles in the morning of December 13, 2024, across Ukraine. Such missile attacks, big and small, have been happening almost every day or night since the beginning of the full-scale war in February 2022.
Donations
Magefan supports different projects that help our volunteers and armed forces. Here are just the two main foundations we support: Prytula Foundation and ComeBackAlive Foundation.
There are also many other projects we are involved in, and we encourage you to support our country's fight for freedom. We believe that one day we all will celebrate the victory of freedom over the russian inhumane war.
Anyway, we’re grateful for every day of 2024, when it was possible to live and work. We hope 2025 will bring peace to our country. That's the main wish we all have.
