With the constant cycle of updates and new releases of our extensions, it should be understood that not every version of Magento 2 platform can remain supported forever. We would like to notify all our customers that Magento v2.2 will no longer be supported starting from January 1, 2022. This means that no updates, no fixes, no new versions will be available for Magento 2.2 version. If you still use this version we strongly recommend you to update it to the latest version (2.4.3v) to be able to enjoy smooth and uninterrupted work of all Magefan extensions for Magento 2. A Little Background Our Magento 2 Login as Customer Extension made a great impact on Magento community. It's a valuable contribution to any Magento 2 store. That's why Magento got interested in adding it to Magento 2.4.0 core. So, in the fall of 2019, Adobe Systems Incorporated, which owns the Magento platform, contacted us with an offer. Of course, we couldn't refuse, because Magefan are Magento fans. Instead of writing new code from scratch, Magento asked about the integration, which we definitely supported. Thus, we transferred the copyright for the "Login as Customer" extension to Adobe. Then in early 2020, we worked with the Magento Community Engineering Team on integrating our module into the Magento core. There was added the automatic page cache cleanup for product pages with related blog posts that were changed. Blog Post Related Products now use the default catalog related products template and Blog AMP related product template was improved (Magento 2 Blog AMP v2.0.2 is released). In addition to auto 301 redirect to non-slash URLs there was added an option to 301 redirect to blog URL with "/". Those who are using the Blog v2.9.2 and noticed that blog tags disappear after you resave the blog post be sure that was fixed together with the Invalid input date-time format error.
