New features of the Magento 2 Blog Extension!
XML Sitemap Refactoring. Now blog homepage, blog posts, and categories are included in the general Magento XML Sitemap. If you wish to keep a separate blog sitemap, you can manage it with a separate Blog Sitemap Extension.
We also added an option "Page Pagination Type" in Advanced Permalink Settings that allows to enable ?p=N and /page/N to default pagination type ?page=N (Blog Plus & Extra). Added an option to display related blog products in the sidebar. Avoid canonical tag duplicates when a canonical tag is added manually via the Layout Update XML field. Improved meta description generation.

However, again for the past 547 days, we should fight for our freedom and independence.
And today we want to express our gratitude to the Ukrainian Armed Forces who fight for Ukraine and the values of the free world. We are also grateful to all of you who support us with your actions, kind words and donations.
Today there won’t be any loud celebrations in our country. However, there might be loud air raid sirens in Ukrainian cities and villages heard by our children as the war is still not over.

New features of the Magento 2 SEO Extension!
In the latest version, we have added a new amazing feature for better SEO optimization. Now SEO extension allows you to create and apply SEO rules (templates) to products and categories. Once you create the SEO rules, you can preview the products with the applied templates. Also, we added an option not to remove the existing metadata.
For your convenience, you can use the list of available attributes and edit inline. In the last version, we also improved the crosslinks processor and improved PHP 8.2 compatibility. We added a migration script that creates SEO rules based on config data (Store -> Config section). We also added a cron job that applies SEO rules.

New features of the Magento Google Tag Manager!
In the latest version, we added new tracking for sign-in, creating an account and searches (features are available in GTM Extra version). Also, the extension is now compatible with the Hyva Theme. We improved compatibility with Magento 2.3.x.
In the last version, we also fixed the JS error on the checkout page when the module is disabled in the admin panel (in GTM Plus version). Another fix of an issue to when instead of brand name dataLayer contained just brand ID was made in the recent version.

The russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine began on February 24, 2022. It was a day that changed us and our way of living. We thought these terrific events would last for a few days or at least a month. Unfortunately, this horrible war that has already taken so many lives of adults and children has lasted for a year and is still not over.
Donations have become a part of Ukrainians’ ordinary lives throughout this year.

Comeback Alive Fundation
Comeback Alive is one of the biggest Ukrainian charitable foundations. Ukrainians and people from around the globe had donated to this fund over 140 million dollars since February 24, 2022. The main project of this fund is Army Assitance. This is also one of the first charity funds that has been providing army assistance since 2014 when russia first invaded Ukraine.

Big updates to our bestseller – Magefan Blog! We added an option to set a custom blog category canonical URL. Another great addition — is an option to reset extension configuration options to use system values.
We also updated some localization vocabularies and improved import for Hubspot Wizard and via CSV. We made some design improvements for compatibility with different themes. New PHP 8.1 code compatibility changes was added too.

January
The first month was a great start, full of countless ideas and plans for the year. We also prepared for switching to a different pricing model - where we kept the one-time payment model and continued to provide access to all new releases and free support for 365 days.
February
We were working on new releases and clients' projects the whole month till the 24th of February. Every Ukrainian will remember this dark day as the worst day in their lives when russia attacked our beloved country with missiles and tanks. For the next few days of that month, all our team members were out of the office moving to safe places with their loved ones and waiting for the unknown brought by this horrible war

Generating product feeds for Google Shopping is even more convenient now. In the latest version, we have improved the compatibility with configurable products. Besides, we’ve removed default values for Google Analytics tracking from the extension configuration and added an option to auto-generate GTIN based on product ID.
