The process of creating blog posts consists of multiple stages: researching topics, looking for the right keywords, drafting a structure and creating content. Although our Magento 2 Blog offers you the best blog management options, you still have to create content yourself. 

At least it used to be like that before we introduced the AI Writer that does all the heavy lifting for you. 

So, in this guide, you'll learn how to integrate it and create blog posts in Magento using AI in a few seconds.

Configure AI Integration

Before you start creating blog posts using AI, you need to create the integration between the AI and Magento. In our Blog we use the Chat-GPT, so that's what we're going to work with.

Building the integration includes only two steps: retrieving the API keys and configuring the basic AI options. 

1. Retrieve API keys

First, create or sign in to your Open AI account and go to the platform.openai.com. Then click on the Create new secret key button to start generating your key.

Just specify the Name for your key, choose a Project and press the Generate secret key button.

Copy it once it's generated and move to the next step.

2. Configure AI writer

Navigate to Stores > Configuration > Magefan Extensions > Blog > AI Writer and Enable it. Then paste your Chat-GPT API Key in a corresponding field.

The last thing is to set the Default Prompt Template, Default Image Prompt Template and Default Image Size (the last two only if you decide to Generate Post Image).

Don't forget to Save the settings once you finish and start creating blog posts effortlessly.

Generate Blog Posts in Magento Using AI

Now it's time to create some content. Navigate to Content > Blog > Posts and hit the Add with AI button.

Then fill out the details required to generate a post:

  • Post Topic
  • Tone
  • Prompt Template
  • SEO Keywords
  • Image Prompt Template
  • Image Size

Click Generate and let our AI Writer generate your blog post content. The more detailed the prompt, the more content AI will be able to generate for you.

Generated blog post will be disabled. So you can preview it or get right to editing. The last thing is to fill out all the display settings and SEO sections to make sure your post is fully optimized.

However, don't forget that, even though our Blog AI Writer does most of the work for you, it's just the blog content part.

You still need to configure the blog homepage, choose the templates, customize the blog sidebar and create authors.
