2025 is almost over, but before we step into 2026, let's pause for a bit and reflect on everything 2025 brought us.
Meet Magento Ukraine
To begin with, one of the most memorable 2025 moments was the return of Meet Magento Ukraine after a long break.
Our CEO, Ihor Vansach, was invited to moderate the technical track and deliver a speech on , sharing insights with the Magento community.
We were also extremely honoured to sponsor the event, participate in lively discussions, meet fellow Magento enthusiasts, and feel the spark that really keeps us going.

Meet Magento Ukraine once again highlighted the strength and resilience of the Ukrainian tech ecosystem. In fact, Ukraine has been part of Magento story from the very beginning. Very few people know that the actual coding and development of the first release was handled by a team in Ukraine.
Meet Magento World
In 2025, Magefan continued supporting the Magento ecosystem. We sponsored many other great Meet Magento events, such as Meet Magento India, Meet Magento UK, and Meet Magento Netherlands.

New Extensions
As always, this year has been very productive for our development team. We've released several new Magento extensions and a Shopify app. So, here are the newcomers:

Product Updates
A lot of updates were made across our Magento extensions and Shopify apps in 2025. But here are the most significant ones.
Magento 2 Extensions
- now offers DeepL, ChatGPT, and Google Translate integrations for even more accurate translations. Magefan Translator now autotranslates your entire store — from products and categories to CMS pages, blocks, product attributes, and even Magefan Blog items.
- has become even better. We've replaced the React-based system with a pure JavaScript implementation to simplify the codebase, reduce dependencies, and improve performance within the Magento environment.
- Our has also undergone some big changes. We've upgraded the blog templates, changed styles and updated, added new templates, advanced multi-languge support and many other improvements to make blogging on Magento even more convenient for you.
Shopify Apps
- got a complete design makeover. We've also added an AI blog post generator to help you create content much faster.
- got improved significantly as well. We've added the ability to log in as a customer to new Shopify accounts with our or your custom temporary email. You can now also prepare shopping carts better with the "persistent cart sharing" feature and track all orders created by admins for your customers.
Magefan Turned 10!
2025 has been a truly special year for Magefan, as the company celebrated its 10th anniversary — ten years of growth, innovation, achievements, teamwork, and thousands of loyal customers worldwide.
We celebrated this anniversary together — enjoying a warm and unforgettable moment for all of us.
By the way, this year, Magefan welcomed two new team members who quickly became an integral part of our company.
At the same time, one of our teammates is still protecting our country and freedom as part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
We are incredibly grateful for his courage and are looking forward to his safe return.
The Reality of War
Not everything this year was filled with joy. The war in Ukraine continues to affect our lives.
Every day and night, the country-terrorist russia launches missiles and drones across the entire Ukraine, destroying hospitals, schools, and critical infrastructure
But most importantly, russia continues taking innocent Ukrainian lives.
Our hometown was not an exception. This year, it was repeatedly targeted by russian missile and drone attacks. The most devastating strike in Ternopil happened the day after our anniversary celebration, taking the lives of 38 people, including 8 children.

These tragic events are a painful reminder of why we must keep supporting our defenders and volunteers.
Donations
Magefan is actively involved in many initiatives to support volunteers and the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This year, we kept donating, and the lion's share of the money went to the following charitable foundations: Prytula Foundation and Gen.Camp.
We are grateful to every customer whose purchase indirectly helps these efforts. Your support empowers us to keep contributing.
2025 brought us countless moments and reasons to stay hopeful and inspired.
Every new extension, every release, every improvement, every event, and every customer played a significant part in encouraging us to move further and achieve more.
As we move towards 2026, our wish remains the same: peace for Ukraine, growth for the company, and prosperity for our customers.
