Follow these steps to add product image to order grid in Magento 2:
1. Navigate to Stores > Configuration > Magefan Extensions > Better Order Grid.
2. In the Product Column Template field choose what bought products info will be displayed in the order grid. You can choose Image on Hover or Grid Template.

In case you select the Grid template, you will also need to choose what information to display. You can select Thumbnail, Name, SKU, Price, Qty Ordered, and any other product attribute you add to the Product Column Display Info.
